6 Months To Change My life - Update 11/05/2016

Okay, so my eight week boost didn't really get off on the best foot. Story of my life.
After writing my initial post on my six month plan, a fantastic cold crept in, meaning I was out of action for a week or so. Add this to general life stuff, and a trip to the out of hours doctor with Scout, it's been a little hectic.

But, Thursday came and we were all feeling much better, which was perfect timing because it was also the day that Scout started going to nursery. I took that as a sign to get my life plan back on track. We dropped Scout off at nine, went for a coffee and then hopped over to the gym. It felt good to get in some cardio. It felt good to get my body moving again. I feel like it may have given me the boost I need.

My eight weeks is now five weeks, which isn't really that much time at all. Especially to drop a stone.  Because of this, I've decided to minimise my goal by half. Half a stone by 9th June. We have a holiday in the middle of that, but I can imagine I'll be eating a lot of fruit and salad whilst we're away. We have paid for a breakfast buffet and dinner, but this usually means a lack of vegan choices. So i'll get the healthiest stuff I can.

Speaking of Veganism. That's another thing I struggled to get back on track with; but as of six days ago, I haven't eating anything I shouldn't have, and I'm really enjoying it again. I think I'd lost the passion that I had at the beginning of the year, and it has somewhere sprung back.

So far, I have only lost 2lbs, but I'm ok with that. I know I haven't been putting the effort it, and I know that I can now. I know that from now on I can get in at least two gym sessions a week, and I know that my passion for eating a plant based diet has come back.

I'll pop a little update up again on Saturday, just to keep myself accountable and back on trac. I think that's all I need on this journey. Accountability. If no-one knows I'm doing badly, then it's almost as if it's not happening; and that's gotta stop.
