Beauty Bay - Best Of The USA

Best of USA box review
On the 4th July, Beauty Bay launched their 'Best Of USA' boxes.
Initially I just purchased the 'Miami' box (now not available), but then went on to complete a second order to receive the 'LA'  box. I just did not want to miss out.

Each box sold for £59 and had a value of £84, giving a whopping saving of £25. Good deal, eh.
Each box also had very similar, and repeating products, that just varied in shade.

Best Of USA Miami beauty box
The Miami box contained -
Gerard Cosmetics Slay all day setting spray in Jasmine,
Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Riviera,
Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint in Mars,
Kevyn Aucoin Deluxe Mini The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium,
Make Up Geek Eyeshadow in Creme Brûlée,
Make Up Geek Blush in Spell Bound,
Makeup Geek Contour Powder in Break Up,
LA Splash Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Latte.

Best of USA Los Angeles beauty box

The Los Angeles box contained -
Gerard Cosmetics Slay all day setting spray in Peach,
Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Peach Nectar,
Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint in Mars,
Kevyn Aucoin Deluxe Mini The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium,
Make Up Geek Eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear,
Make Up Geek Blush in Romance,
Makeup Geek Contour Powder in Bad Habit,
LA Splash Lip Couture Liquid Lipstick in Latte Confession.

So as you can see listed above, there was a couple of repeats, but for the products worth and the price I paid, I was willing to have a couple of back ups. Obviously, the big seller of these boxes were the ABH Illuminators. Seeing as the beauty world is totally obsessed with anything glowy at the minute, they were an excellent addition to the boxes.
My favourite products though were the Make Up Geek Goodies. I already own a few bits, one of the contour shades I had previously purchased before hand, but this was a great way to try out the blushes which were totally new to me. I will be doing separate reviews for some of these products in the coming weeks, but little preview; I bloody love them.

Unfortunately, I did receive the wrong illumiator in my LA box, meaning I had two of the Riviera shade, but Beauty Bay were absolutely on the ball and got that sorted out very quickly.

I'm super impressed with these boxes, and surprisingly the LA box is still available. (here) If you fancy a little mid month splurge, I'd really recommend picking one up before they become a total thing of the past. These boxes have introduced me to a couple of new brands, and I will be for sure picking up some other bits from them in the future.
